Chuuch: The Naked Truth

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

From the Paris riots aftermath and the politically outspoken Ann Coulter to the meltdown of Planet Rock and the eerie rise of New Orleans's once buried saints, today's Chuuch service explores The Naked Truth as Lil' Kim would say, in all its untold glory.

In follow-up to the disturbing riots that racked Paris and other French cities recently, here's a story that touches on the next steps. They call them "colorblind resumes," and as you might expect, there's a bit of anxiety on the part of some employers about this new hiring practice leading to -- gasp -- affirmative action.

Typically, in France, "they throw away the résumés of people who are from bad parts of town which are supposed to have Arabs or blacks," Bebear, 70, said in an interview. "When you have somebody whose name is Mohammed and he lives in St. Denis," a low-income community outside Paris, "you say, 'I won't bother with that one,' and so they don't even answer them."

Right-wing gangsta chick Ann Coulter "lectures" African American students at Philander Smith College, giving them her version of what Lil Kim would call The Naked Truth...

Image Hosted by ImageShack.usCoulter provoked boos, especially after she stopped two black men during questions, telling them, "I'm not gonna be lectured to," according to the newspaper account. She also was booed when she said that the crack cocaine epidemic "has pretty much gone away."

Put'cha lighters up! It's almost 50 degrees in Chicago today, and it's only January!!!! Never mind, because Houston says this is a really big problem...

One paper (The Washington Post) reports a NASA scientist's alarming research conclusions that the end of the world as we know it is closer than anyone realized. The big clap back that's being caused by global warming must be checked now, the researcher says.
Earth's average temperature has risen nearly 1 degree Fahrenheit over the past 30 years, he noted, and another increase of about 4 degrees over the next century would "imply changes that constitute practically a different planet."

Meanwhile, another paper (The New York Times) reports the Bush administration has asked NASA to silence the above doomsayer. Why? Here's The Naked Truth behind both stories.

* * * * * * * * * *

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us I wondered about this when Katrina hit, having known about the curious New Orleans custom of burying the dead in above ground tombs. According to this NPR audio file, keeping the saints from marching has, indeed, been a huge problem since the levees broke. Cemetery workers say they haven't come close to rounding up all of the float-away remains and split tombstones.

"It's very emotional," one NOLA resident said. "It's like having to bury your loved ones all over again."

It's unbelievable, the enormity of the untold truths and tragedies that are only now coming to the fore, five whole months after this disaster.

I would like to know who even allowed Ann Coulter to speak at a black university. That was asking for all hell to break out. She is one ignorant, Bush-dyck-sucking slut.

Lol...Ann told 'em to “get real" and to "get outa my grill" ...

...intellectual honesty for the intellectually honest: said without one reference to the "p-word".

What a refreshing alternative to the pandering condescension of a certain demagogue who has been long accustomed to the fawning adoration of those of you...still left on the 'plantation'.

happy sunday uda,

sorry, but that coulter woman sickens me. so self-righteous, always spitting up neo-con kool-aid. and if she thinks crack isn't much of a problem these days, she has underscored the fact that she's not credible to speak on all that she's always spouting off about.

Truth is...most liberals can't take their own Medicine...

What is even more implicable to me is the black left's vocal paralysis and inability to check the outrageous racist commentary coming out of the mouths of their own Massas...Dean, Kennedy, Hillary, Reid, New York Times, et.al...

"Global Warming" is based on the unproven concept that industrial carbon dioxide emissions create a 'greenhouse effect' thereby creating a cooling effect over the planet...

However, the concept of "Global Warming" has been exploited as a political tool with which to submerge U.S. Corporate interests under a globalized economy...which makes this issue more of a matter of national security than anything else...

The mercifully failed Kyoto Treaty which President Bush refused to sign was loaded with severe restrictions upon Anerican industry while giving the nations of Western Europe, China and India essentially a pass...

The Bush Administration has poured billions into researching 'clean technology' and alternate forms of energy which could curtail carbon dioxide emissions...

The reality is, is that millions of years of ecological change and hundreds of industrial man-years will not come to a screeching halt and suddenly go into reverse with one swipe of a Presidential pen while the rest of the industrial world gets a pass...

The Bush Administration, reserves the right, as with all previous administrations to 'check' any 'spokesman' who presents a viewpoint which is contrary to their policies and interests.

Its hillarious to watch these liberal 'pundits' now attempt to blame Mr. Bush for even the time and the seasons on earth.

1. "racist" democratic party?

2. i don't blame bush for the environment. this is a still emerging issue that's everyone's responsibility -- past, present and future. anyone who points the finger at bush alone is dead wrong; everyone bears responsibility.

3. yes, ann coulter's "style" is off-putting. but more important is that she's trying to speak with authority about crack cocaine, yet is so ridiculously uninformed. this falls in line with those whose mantra is, "racism? what racism in america?! you all are making that up!" it's b.s.

That is not just something that needs to be done in France. People here look at resumes and judge by these ebonic names and addresses as well. It sucks but that is the reality in America too.

That is truly sad about what has happened to the cemetaries in New Orleans. I cannot even imagine how hard it must be to have that going on with your loved one's remains, on top of all the other issues the hurricane caused. Truly sad and my heart goes out to one and all.

1. You read correctly.

2. I agree.

3. Ann Coulter was correct. There is no 'crack epidemic' in the United States. If it existed at all, it peaked in the late nineties and has been declining every since.

This false perception of an 'epidemic' is reinforced amongst Urban Blacks by the relatively high incarceration rates of black men and women for drug related crimes in the relatively tight confines of the urban community.

Thus the devasting effect of drug related crimes can affect urban families and extended families far more disproportionately to the general population.

So, it is a CRIME epidemic - NOT a crack epidemic when people choose to break the law.

That's a pretty condescending viewpoint to assume that college students should be limited to your point of view as they are incapable of arriving at their own...

....or maybe you would prefer more liberal idiots fools like these:

”In discussing the issues facing the black community, Kambon claimed that “white people want to kill us” and then went on to make a startling statement: “We have to exterminate white people off the face of the planet to solve this problem.”- Dr. Kamau Kambon, who taught “Africana Studies” in the Spring 2005 semester at North Carolina State University

Colorblind Resumes?

So today's Trans-Atlantic Socialists want it both ways...

First the liberals demanded of America a colorless, genderless, classless "even playing field" so that all individuals - even regardless of aptitude - could have an equal chance to succeed in a 'racist society'...hence "Affirmative Action"...a noble thing...

But after the liberal left hijacked the Civil Rights movement - in order to foster acceptance of the left's perverse lifestyles, the playing field was broadened to include perversity in its diversity...an ignoble thing...

Is it any wonder why Affirmative Action has been another casualty of the Civil Rights Pirates?
